After joining the Facebook group "Reverse Vampires", I've been inspired to start buying music again!

I purchased:

• Miike Snow - Miike Snow

Muse - Absolution

I've heard this before and really enjoyed it. Time to own it. Muse is a British rock band with some solid riffs, distortion, and lyrics. The general tone is rough and dark which I enjoy.

Just recently heard of this musician, though I've enjoyed downtempo electronica for some time. I think the album which caught my attention was different, so I'm still getting used to this self-titled recording, but it sounds good so far.

A track from my friend Eggplant Xanadu's album "Ice Cream Headache" is featured during Jeremiah Vance's part. Its a remix of the intro to Michael Jackson's Thriller mixed with M.C. Shan "The Bridge" drums.

Eminem is back with the first single on off of his next cd titled Recovery.  This one takes on a more serious tone which is in contrast to the majority of his last LP. I definitely think this is when he's at his best.

His less than serious songs that take shots at celebrities and such are fun, but when they take up the majority of the cd it becomes a bit much.  I hope we see some more material on Recovery along the lines of "Lose Yourself", "Way I am" and so fourth.
