Rasta Vibrations

It seems like Reggae has taken a back seat to rap and rock on the radio. The only real Reggae you hear is Bob Marley and maybe some Matisyahu. I really wish Reggae would get some more mainstream exposure because I love reggae but am not to informed when it comes to whats good out there these days Reggae wise.

One band that my friend turned me on to is a group called Soldiers of Jah Army or SOJA for short. These guys are great with catchy songs and feel good lyrics. I listen to a lot of rap so when I'm in the mood this is a good, mellow alternative. I like to listen to reggae when I'm relaxing or trying to fall asleep.

I was wondering if anybody knows any good current reggae artists. Right now I really only mainly have Bob Marley and SOJA on my iPod, but am hoping to add more.

For more, make sure you listen to Rockers! on 88.9FM WERS in Boston. So good. You probably know them from 88.9 at Night, it you don't listen to that too for awesome hip-hop.
