DJ Z-trip is an amazing artist. He takes samples from other music and creates something new entirely. His work is amazing. It’s like he makes a collage out of music.
His website is www.djztrip.com I recommend downloading some of his tunes and listening. He offers lots of bits and pieces of his work for free online. Tonight he’s playing at Harper’s Ferry in Allston!!! I was very excited when I discovered this. I’ve been waiting for him to come back to Boston for over a year.
Z-trip isn’t afraid to get political. He recently posted an editorial mix on Barak Obama it’s well done, and worth a listen. Even if you’re not an Obama fan, the music is worth a listen.
