Dr. Pepper made a pledge that every one would get free Dr. Pepper if the new Guns n' Roses CD "Chinese Democracy" was released before the end of 2008. Lucky for anyone who likes Dr. Pepper (and Guns n' Roses for that matter) they're making good on their promise.
Starting Sunday at 12:00 am there will be a free coupon for a 20 oz bottle of Dr. Pepper posted on their website. The coupon will be posted for 24 hours.

Axl Rose is apparently pissed about the way that Dr. Pepper conducted the "giveaway". He is suing Dr. Pepper for skating off of the publicity of their much anticipated album, and to make good on their promise of free soda to the public.
I for one am glad to see Axl take action this way. I was anticipating free soda, and he's really the only one who has the power to force Dr. Pepper to do anything.
