On Halloween this year I went to a party at my friends house. It was there that I discovered the harmonica. Yes I had played with one of these as a child, I am certain of that, but I have never had the opportunity in my adult life. It was so much fun, I annoyed the hell out of the people around me, because I'm a noob and I think I was mostly just making noise in their minds, but now I am on the hunt for my own harmonica.
I haven't played an instrument in years - obviously Guitar Hero and Rock Band do not count as instruments.
I really want to be able to to play the harmonica piece for "Once Upon a Time in the West".
Obviously what's posted above is a musical piece and gets way cheesy at the end but it's that classic western waaa waaa waaaaa waaaaaa. I'll try and find a clip just of the part that I want to learn, it's probably only 4 notes. I think he's bending the notes. A trick that's achieved by blowing into the piece sideways to hit the note next to the one your actually bowing on.
I have to do a lot more research, before I actually buy one though.
That's funny I just got my harmonica back yesterday. They are fun to play. Now I have to get my banjo back!
