This is crazy - I thought time bugs were almost a decade old, and not a big deal. Apparently not - Microsoft produced Zune music / mp3 players are failing due to a time bug.
Supposedly, its due to the extra second that we’ll have in 2008, but how would the Zune players know that there will be an extra second this year?
Microsoft has also said that the Zune players will start working again tomorrow morning, but we’ll see then. Let’s hope other programs and machines don’t stop functioning!
Its still not fixed - if it never gets fixed, Microsoft is going to face a lot of unhappy customers!
Microsoft has been dropping the ball lately, first everything with the Xbox now they're having trouble with the Zune as well. Not to mention all of the negative feedback about Vista. Microsoft has seen better days.
