Ladytron

This is definitely not a band I would typically find myself listening to, but what can I say I’ve taken quite a liking to them. I guess best way to describe them is techno pop. Ladytron is one of those bands that melds together several genres, therefore pigeonholing them to a particular music type would be difficult, and perhaps even a little irresponsible.

A lot of my favorite bands are genre benders. Rage Against the Machine gives you heavy metal with rap vocals, RHCP have been known to have funk and acoustic influences, and hell even a little hip hop thrown in for good measure.

Another thing about bands of this ilk is that they have a tendency to reinvent their sound, so roping them together with one finite genre classification wouldn’t be doing their art justice.
