A recent trip to New York City to visit with my uber-cool sister resulted in an outgoing to Collective Hardware. The discreet yet suggestive exterior of Collective Hardware ("If you can't find it, we have it") encapsulates a dusty yet sheer, concrete yet vibrant, all around awesome interior. There are several floors, but I was most impressed with the ground level.
The night I visited it was host to a VJ installation with music synchronized, even when it was all cut up. I didn't get the performers names but I was impressed. Thanks, it had been awhile!
