La Coka Nostra is about as close to a rap super group as your gonna get. Of course you have Wu-Tang but they had to work from the ground up for that title. Most of these guys came together after already having a well established career in the industry.
La Coka consists of relative newcomer Slaine, Everlast, Ill Bill and DJ Lethal and regular collaborations with the likes of DJ Muggs, B-Real, and Sick Jacken. Their a group of very talented lryicists. I would describe their sound as gangsta heavy metal rap if I had to give it a name. The group has one foot planted in rap with the vocals and the other planted rock with a live band sound to the beats. Click on this link, it will give a pretty good idea as to what they’re all about.
