After writing that post about Devlin it brought to mind another UK rapper, Plan B, who again strangely enough is white. I’m starting to realize more and more that white MCs are starting to gain recognition. Its not like the early 90s when it was all a big joke and the only representation us white people had was Vanilla Ice. The mainstream has a few big names such as Eminem, Paul Wall and ‘Lil Wyte. The underground on the other hand is teaming with a slew of great white rappers such as El-P, Apathy, Cage, Copywrite, Kno of the Cunninlynguists, Ryu of Styles of Beyond and plenty more names that have escaped me at the moment.
But anyways back to the original reason for this post. Plan B is a UK rapper who’s a little bit Eminem, a little bit Everlast. Great stuff.
