El Pus released a video for a song of their’s called Suburb Thuggin off thir debut cd Hoodlum Rock Vol.1 This was about three or so years ago, but they never really made an impact on the music scene which really surprised me.
I picked up Hoodlum Rock back then and ended up loving the cd. It was a great listen from front to back without any filler at all. They had a really interesting feel good sound that mixed elements of hip hop, punk and rock. They’ve been quiet since then and haven’t had any new releases from what I can tell. I urge those of you who haven’t heard them to check them out, I still listen to that cd to this day.
