Sunday, November 8, 2009.. Two famous jazz professionals and one American poet, played together as a benefit for Bob Moses’ new non profit venture, “Native Pulse.”
Native Pulse Non Profit is the brainchild of Audio Engineer David Sullivan and Jazz Legend Bob Moses. The idea behind it, is to make music and arts education available in a time where public funding is consistently disappearing.
The event went very well and was attended by about 50 Jazz fans. The three men played together with Robert Pinsky reading in rhythm. The finale came as a 15 minute intense duet by Strickland and Moses, which was something to see.
