I’m a huge Canibus fan, although his rapping style isn’t for everybody. It’s very straightforward and in your face and he doesn’t switch up his flow a whole lot. But I for one, love the intensity he brings to his music. His subject matter is never boring, thats for damn sure, and he’s got one hell of a vocabulary. It’s fun to listen to his lyrics and try to decipher his messages. Truth be told, a lot of his references go right over my head, lot of metaphors and symbolism going on, but it keeps things interesting.
Here are a couple of Canibus’ best tracks. Like I said, he’s not for everyone, but I personally think the dudes a genius and one of rap’s best.
