A Hasidic Jewish reggae artist. At first glance that appears to be strictly gimmick, but fortunately Matisyahu is much more and has the talent to prove it. This song “One Day”, is the new single off his new cd “Light” which is a follow up to his previous LP released a few years back.
His religious messages may turn some off, but I for one find them to be inspiring and uplifting. I’m hardly religious but when you hear his songs about ending war and loving your fellow man, its hard not to get on board with that. Enjoy.
